Not my luck today, i have to waited for so long to buy this because it is the peak season of tourism. So i decided not to buy, n luckily, near this shop there is a small shop which sell "Lekker" cake, they sell serabi notosuman ny. Lydia with higher price than the original place. When ny. lidya price for original is 26K. The shop near sells it for 37K. Dont want to wait for long then i decided to buy it. Hopefully next time i have my luck.

Serabi is one of famous Indonesian sweet snack alias jajan pasar and the famous one in Solo is Serabi Notosuman. There are two shops, based on the rumour they're still family and due to the family break-up each family team open up one store, one with green banner and the other with red banner. Both of them were tasted almost the same, I counld't tell the different though. So the next visit, I chose the less crowd one for the efficiency.

Serabi is one of traditional food in Solo. Now, it is served with various of taste such as original, chocolate. Notosuman is the famous one in Solo. Try it.😀

I visited serabi notosuman this afternoon, and realized that something different (i went to this place last year). Now, they have a mini store on the right side, and open kitchen on the left. The store looks nicer than before. It's clean, has chairs for customers waiting, good ambience with bright lighting. It makes the store looks clean. The serabi comes with 3 options, original, chocolate, or mix. There are 10 serabis on 1 box. If you choose mix, you will get 5 original and 5 chocolate. The taste is different with the serabi that we can find on the street. Although it only come with 2 flavour, it taste rich. It taste best when still hot. Unfortunately, it only last for 1 day.

Pretty looks like a pancake with coconut milk. It actually taste good, the coconut milk doesn't overwhelming for me. Price good, but i dont really like the chocolate one, too sweet for me.

The taste is good , a bit too sweet . Actually there is a difference with the original srabi "jajan pasar" , that is in their main ingredient . Srabi Notosuman is made from wheat-flour , whereas srabi jajan pasar is made from rice-flour . Frankly , I still prefer the original jajan pasar , because this srabi Notosuman is more like pancake and make it a bit loaded taste . However , it's a great taste , so don't hesitate to try ! 👌👌
